When you’ve booked your Holidays in Advance, there’s normally a Pick-up included. After you’ve left the arrival hall in Cebu, somebody should be waiting with your name, or the name of the Resorts on the sign. The ride is about 3 hours down to Moalboal.

Warning: There is no beach on the southern Part of Moalboal, but here you have a bigger diversity of Bars and Restaurants. If you want to have that, look for a accommodation on White Beach on the northern Tip.

Resorts and Diving

I used to dive with Blue Abyss. Nice Diveshop and the guides, June and Gary, are really good. They also have a small, nice Resort with a good restaurant.

I’ve tried a couple of Resorts in this place. I can recommend Marcosas and Tipolo.

Food

There are a lot of Restaurants with good food. Just check by yourself. 😉

Nightlife

Not really much around, because this place is really focussed on diving. Chili’s is a good spot, where everybody comes together at night. Every Saturday is Disco at Pacita’s. Nothing special, but you can spend a fun night there.

What else to do?

Some shops offer a tour down to Oslob. There you can snorkel with Whalesharks. Pretty touristic, but since they introduced some rules, it’s ok if you have never seen one.  You can look for a driver, that gets you down there, too. Takes about 2 hours to get there.

A Trip to Kawasan falls is nice, too. Just hop on a Tricycle, the driver will wait for you, until you are back from the trip.
